In 2025, the members of Alta Vista Garden Club hosted a tour of five area gardens. From high desert to alpine slopes, variations due to elevations are amplified by the steep terrain. Distinctive setting provide a variety of microclimates and vistas for the creative and avid gardenerner. Blends of perennials, annuals, native plants, trees and vegetalbes located in private gardens gained participants great ideas for drought tolerant plants and gardening at a mile high.
